At Chronic Conditions of the Carolinas, we take a different approach to restoring your health. We treat the entire body as a whole. We work closely with our patients to uncover the source of their pain or chronic illness and then work diligently together to reverse the symptoms and restore health.
Before Your First Appointment
Here at Chronic Conditions of the Carolinas, we make sure that everybody is treated as an individual. Your first step as a new patient will be to download the forms from the buttons on this page and fill them out in detail before arriving for your first appointment.
We want to make sure that you fill that out as completely as possible. It is a requirement. If your paperwork is not completed, we will have to reschedule you so you can be seen another time.
We do this for a reason. Your time is so valuable– and so is ours. Out of respect to you and all of our patients, we don’t want anyone sitting in the waiting room. So that’s why we ask you to have your paper work completed ahead of time. It’s not only for your convenience but it’s for the convenience of other patients as they come in. Nobody likes to wait and I certainly don’t want you to have to wait.
So once we’ve done all the paper work taken care of, that’s when we start the examination process. Once we’ve done the examination process, we order any necessary lab tests.
I may have to send you out for lab work depending on your case. If X-rays are needed, we do that here in the office. I may have to send you out for an MRI or a CT Scan depending on your case, we have a couple of excellent facilities right here in the Statesville and Iredell County area. So if we need to utilize that, we’ll set everything up for you.
Your Initial Visit
On your first visit, we do a complete history and a thorough exam– we want to check you out from head to toe. We’re going to do a very thorough physical and neurologic evaluation. This will probably be the most complete examination you’ve ever had.
We’re going to do orthopedic tests, muscle tests, range of motion test and we’re going to do some neurological tests. If necessary, we’ll do metabolic, blood, saliva and fecal testing as well to help us reach potential sources of dysfunction in the body.
We want to see what’s going on with the gut and the rest of the system to try to bring you back up to optimal health.
This is a partnership. I’ll discuss why we’re doing these tests beforehand so you’re always in the know on what we’re looking for and why.
We’re not looking for a quick fix. We’re not here to give you a pill, we’re not here to cut you open or do any type of surgical procedure. We’re here to deal with your health. Period.
Our number one goal is to get you back to health, get you out there in the game doing all the things that you want to do.
Your Follow Up Appointment
Once we get the results of your testing back, we’ll sit down and I’ll explain everything to you. We’ll review the results of my exam findings, the lab work, the X-ray, MRI or CT results. If you’re a candidate for care, we’ll lay out a course of care that will help you get optimal results.
Again, I’ve got to get you back to health. We want to get you back out in the game. We focus on holistic, natural therapy methods with proven results– from the scientific community and from our own successful patient base.
